- Summer Youth Football Camp - The Foundation has succesfully run a free football camp for children ages 7-13 for 3 years. Gosder and some of his friends from BC and the NFL make it a point to teach children the fundamentals of football and provide a fun and productive atmosphere for all to enjoy. Details regarding the 2012 GCF Youth Football camp are forthcoming.
- Haitian Earthquake Relief - Due to devestating earthquake in Haiti, the foundation is currently working to provide aid and support to the country. With over three million people in need of help, The Gosder Cherilus Foundation is working alongside Haitian charities and relief services to help victims of the disaster. Our first relief effort involved sending a team of doctors and nurses on a weeklong trip to provide sorely needed medical assistance at hospitals in Port au Prince. Our efforts are now focused on providing continued support to supply and staff hospitals in Port au Prince to enable them to effectively administer medical care to all affected individuals.
- Thanksgiving For Forty Of Detroit's Homeless November 2009 - Days before Gosder's Thanksgiving game, he personally provided and delivered Thanksgiving dinner to four underprivileged Detroit households, totalling over 40 people.
